We also made a major change to the watch strap — a decision that delayed our timeline a bit, but for the right reasons.

The stainless-steel strap we originally sourced simply did not meet the standard we set for the MK1.

The construction felt weak, the tolerances were inconsistent, and the overall experience was not something we were willing to ship.

So we replaced it.

Instead of the earlier folded-link design, the MK1 will now come with a fully solid stainless-steel bracelet.

It is stronger, heavier in the right way, and far more reliable for long-term wear.

This upgrade was not planned, but it was necessary.

We made this change because the people who support this project deserve a better product — not paid add-ons, not optional upgrades, but a watch that arrives in its best possible form within the original price.

If we can improve something, we do it, even if it costs us time.

One of the most significant revisions we made was to the case structure.

In earlier samples, several people pointed out that the module sat too high, making the “head” of the watch feel bulky.

This feedback was completely valid — so we went back and reworked the internal layout.

We redesigned the chip board and refined the internal positioning of the module, allowing it to sit at a better angle.

This new placement distributes the internal thickness more efficiently and lets the display lean naturally into a cleaner, more proportional silhouette.

As a result, the overall height of the MK1 has been reduced without compromising clarity or durability.

The watch now feels slimmer, more balanced on the wrist, and visually closer to what the MK1 Remake should represent.

Early prototypes revealed inconsistency in button response, with some units feeling soft and others overly stiff.

We reworked the internal spring pressure and refined the actuation path, giving each button a cleaner and more predictable click.

The result is a firmer, more mechanical interaction that feels deliberate instead of vague — exactly what a tool like the MK1 should deliver

The spacing between the display and the front glass was recalibrated to improve readability from multiple angles.

This adjustment reduced glare, increased contrast, and created a more stable viewing experience both indoors and outdoors.

The digits now appear sharper and better defined without altering the retro character of the display itself.

Micro-movement inside the case can affect long-term durability.

We strengthened the internal frame and improved module anchoring to prevent shifting during wear or transport.

This makes the entire watch feel more unified, solid, and reliable in everyday use.

Sample units showed minor light bleed around the edges of the display.

By tightening the internal gaps and adjusting the housing geometry, we eliminated unwanted glow and produced cleaner, more controlled illumination.

This subtle change gives the MK1 a more refined, intentional look

Power efficiency was another area that received careful refinement.

We optimized interaction logic — especially around temperature readings, alerts, and internal wake behavior — to reduce unnecessary power draw while keeping the display bright and stable.

The MK1 also includes an always-on mode, allowing the display to remain continuously lit for users who prefer a constant readout.

However, this mode naturally consumes more power, so we recommend turning it off when not needed, as prolonged illumination will drain the battery more quickly.
